More than solid… double O-rings in the stem means it’ll stay sealed. Made for tough work. Install is easy with interlocking body and end plate to allow quick thread connection. EPDM O-rings handle most fertilizers and many chemicals as well as industrial acids, solvents, liquid waste, wastewater, and cooling water.
