With an unusual colouring for a hydrangea, candybelle marshmallow is a compact new variety which is certain to please. Beautiful, unusually large, frothy flowerheads in shades of pale, salmon-pink, resemble a stack of deliciously squishy marshmallows held on strong stems. Sitting atop lush green foliage, the blooms blanket the compact foliage from july to september, gracefully aging through the autumn, giving further interest into october. Excellent for cut flower arrangements within your home, both as fresh blooms and dried. Reaching up to 90cm (36) in height and spread this is wonderful flowering shrub for small gardens, in either a border or container, or to add to a summer flowering border in larger gardens. Incredibly hardy down to -25c, hydrangea marshmallow will lose leaves in late autumn with fresh shoots appearing the following spring. Preferring to be grown in moist soil which does not dry out in summer. Prefers sun or partial shade. Supplied in 9cm pots.
