Enduring evergreen serrated and sculpted foliage is greeted by clusters of big, frothy, lace cap flowers from june to early september. This is an unusual and exciting woody, climbing variety of hydrangea which even saves the effort of sweeping up the foliage in autumn and offers you the perfect shrub to screen a wall or obscure a shed with its self-clinging aerial roots which climb upwards whilst not growing outwards too far. a hardy (h4) climbing shrub which reaches a maximum height of 8-12m with a spread of 3m.
