Hayloft Pyracantha Sunny Star – 9cm Pot

Pyracantha ‘sunny star’ is a compact, evergreen shrub known for its striking green foliage and vibrant yellow berries. This variety of firethorn is especially prized for its year-round interest, with its bright, glossy leaves providing a splash of colour in both spring and summer, transitioning to a fiery display of yellow berries in the fall and winter. The small white flowers that bloom in late spring attract pollinators, while the berries provide a food source for birds. Sunny star is a hardy, low-maintenance plant that thrives in a variety of conditions, including full sun to partial shade, and adapts well to a wide range of soil types. Its dense, thorny branches make it an excellent choice for creating hedges, security barriers, or espaliered features along fences or walls. With its ability to withstand drought once established and its resistance to pests and diseases, pyracantha ‘sunny star’ is both a functional and ornamental addition to any garden.
