Description

Marshalls garden eccremocarpus ‘fireworks’ seeds produce a fast-growing, self-twining climber with striking red, orange and yellow tubular flowers from june to september. Plants can reach up to 250 cm and look spectacular trained up an obelisk, over a pergola or in containers and vertical gardens. Sow indoors on moist seed compost, sow seeds thinly on the surface (do not cover), keep at 10-15c and avoid darkness or temperatures above 18c which inhibit germination. Transplant to 8 cm pots, harden off for 23 weeks and plant out after risk of frost with 6090 cm spacing; best grown as an annual though it may survive a mild winter.
