Marshalls garden tarragon has a distinct aniseed flavour, lush green foliage and clusters of white summer flowers. A hardy perennial ideal for containers, window boxes and borders, it thrives in full or partial sun in well-drained soil and grows to about 100 cm. Use fresh leaves to flavour chicken, fish, pork, beef, poultry, game, potatoes, tomatoes and classic french sauces. Best grown in pots or tubs placed in a sunny position, it provides year-round interest with upright stems and smooth foliage.
